Jan. 21, 2011: A very significant birthday Alan Walker, who has Down syndrome, celebrated his 70th birthday with a party at the UCP building. A little more than a decade before he was born, the life expectancy for someone with Down syndrome was less than ten years.

Dec. 25, 2010:  A Plan for Christmas  UCP partnered with community groups to host a special Christmas party, complete with games, food and gifts, for people with disabilities who might not otherwise have an activity to celebrate Christmas
